Film

In 2004, I was invited to join a fiesty little independent film company, called Barewitness Films.

 

Composed primarily of a bunch of actors trained and experienced in stage work, company members have bravely stepped both in front of and behind the camera.

Sharing production roles, together we continue to expand our skills in camerawork, lighting, sound, editing and everything that goes into making a good film.

Skilled in improvisational filmmaking, we shoot without a script.

 

We often work on a shoestring budget, taking advantage of the accessibility of digital video.

 

Our nonprofit company also collaborates with other actors and filmmakers in this visual storytelling medium.

 

More than a dozen years strong, Barewitness Films has a long portfolio of short, narrative improvisational films.

 

Our award-winning short film Served Cold was made in a weekend for the 48 Hour Film Project.
